The Horseware® LED Red Light Therapy Poll Cap may be beneficial for horses with poll sensitivity or TMJ concerns. Its 230 LEDs use a combination of different light wavelengths to target both the dermal layer and deep tissues. 660nm red light targets the surface, while 850nm infrared penetrates deeper to reach soft tissue. LED treatment has been shown to increase blood flow and promote cellular activity, which may reduce inflammation, may aid skin conditions, and may accelerate wound healing.
