Keratex Hoof Hardener

Keratex Hoof Hardener enables weak, worn and cracked hooves to regain their strength through improving the molecular composition of the horn. This mild chemical formulation interlinks molecules of keratin, the main protein in horn, in a process known as cross-linking, thus bolstering the resilience of the horn's structure. Fundamentally, keratin is the pivotal element of the horn composition.

Apply to lower half of hoof and sole, avoiding coronary band and frog. Use daily for one week then twice weekly for general hoof maintenance. If the hoof has been treated with any oils or greases over the past three months, de-grease the hoof thoroughly with acetone before applying Keratex Hoof Hardener. Do not use any oils or greases while using Keratex Hoof Hardener.
